Graphic Novel Binding Options
Graphic novels need to be both attractive and built to last. We typically recommend sewn perfect binding or sewn hardcover formats for their longevity and refined look. Both options allow the book to open flat without straining the spine.

Hardcover Binding
For a more substantial finish, this method involves sewing interior signatures and mounting them into a rigid case covered in a printed wrap. It also pairs well with enhancements like foil stamping, soft-touch lamination, custom dust jackets, or slipcases.

Sewn Perfect Bound
A popular and cost-effective option, perfect for fiction, comics, catalogs, and more. It features a clean, flat spine and is ideal for books with 32–800 pages.

Spiral & Wire-O Binding
Spiral and Wire-O bindings both use a punch-and-bind method, allowing books to lay completely flat and pages to turn 360°.
Graphic Novel Sizes
One of the most critical decisions when printing a graphic novel is choosing the right book size. Typically, graphic novels without have a standard size and can be printed in any size you want. Here, we listed some common sizes for your reference:
5.5 x 8.5 inches
6.625 x 10.25 inches
6.75 x 10.375 inches
These sizes are commonly used for graphic novels and provide a comfortable reading experience while allowing for ample space to showcase your artwork.
If you have a specific size in mind that doesn’t fall within our offerings, we can accommodate custom sizes as well. Our team will work closely with you to ensure that your graphic novel is printed to your desired specifications.
